On September 25, 2013, Sen. Johnny Isakson posted a press release outlining how he and Sen. Saxby Chambliss, support defunding Obamacare.

Sen. Isakson’ statement (lie #1):

“In keeping with my consistent and strong opposition to Obamacare, I joined with Senator Chambliss and all of Georgia’s House Republican members in voting today for the House-passed continuing resolution that defunds Obamacare and keeps the government running. I have cast almost 60 votes to defund, dismantle and repeal this disastrous health care law and will continue to do so. I hope that the Senate will act quickly so that we have time to work with the House to find a resolution for continuing to fund the government before Oct.1.””

Guess what?

Two days later, Isakson voted in favor of H.J.Res. 59: Continuing Appropriations Resolution, 2014 (Cloture) he could have followed the will of the people, but instead these 25 voted with Democrats. Isakson (or should I say, his staff) then took to Facebook in a failed attempt to try and sell his, YEA vote, stating:

“…I have voted nearly 60 times to kill, repeal, dismantle and defund it.”

He then went on to say(lie #2):

I will not vote in favor of Obamacare. Furthermore, the Democrats designed Obamacare in a way that allows its funding to continue even if the rest of the government shuts down, so the effect of a shutdown would be to allow Obamacare to go forward while hurting seniors, veterans and our military. To that end, I do not support shutting down the entire federal government.”

In other words, while looking his constituents dead in the eye, Isakson lied to each and every Republican in the State of Georgia. Congratulations, you have now seen firsthand what it looks and feels like to be shafted, by the man who YOU keep sending back to D.C.
This is exactly how they work and do this because they aren’t afraid of the American people anymore.

There are three things that I hate in this world: 1.) Someone that cheats 2.) Someone that steals 3.) Someone that lies.

I find this ironic, that in a single vote, Isakson did all three. He no longer represents the will of the people who live in our state. At this point, I will ask you to stop for a moment and think back at the punishment we all received when our parents caught us committing any of these. Now ask yourself “why am I allowing someone who I DO NOT know, Lie, cheat and steal from me?”

The first step in reining in the Federal Government is to STOP voting for a RINO and START voting for someone who is willing to DIE for the Constitution they swore an oath to protect and uphold.

This is just one of the many reasons I will be voting for Derrick Grayson in 2016.
